Hinkle Fieldhouse tickets & upcoming events

Hinkle Fieldhouse in Indianapolis is one of those iconic spots that just oozes college basketball history and charm. If you’ve ever stepped inside, you’d notice that giant scoreboard which was recently upgraded with new tech but still keeps that vintage vibe. The real kicker is the hardwood floor installed back in 1975, honestly, it’s one of the biggest in college hoops, and it’s seen some legendary moments over the years. The arched roof, soaring 120 feet above the court, gives the place a kind of majestic feel, especially when packed for big games or commencements. Trust me, those open seating sections sell out fast, especially for the high-profile matchups, so it’s worth planning ahead. And if you’re into VIP treatment, sideline seats sometimes come with perks like private lounges or personal service, not your typical game day experience. Getting there is pretty straightforward, just hop on 46th Street, keep going straight onto 42nd Avenue, then turn onto Boulevard Avenue and you’re right at the door. Honestly, whether you’re a die-hard basketball fan or just someone looking for a cool place to catch a concert or special event, Hinkle’s got that warm, old-school feel with modern upgrades that keep it fresh. Plus, the sound and lighting systems for concerts are top-notch, making every show feel like a mini concert experience. So yeah, snag your tickets early, whether through their website or the interactive seating chart, and get ready for a memorable time at one of Indiana’s most historic venues.
